C4T Data Protection Policy.

Information security is an issue of public concern as well as technical compliance. If personal data is not properly safeguarded, this can seriously damage an organisation’s reputation and prosperity and can compromise the safety of individuals.

The EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force from 25 May 2018, when it superseded the UK Data Protection Act 1998.

It is wide ranging and includes electronic uses and storage of data. It is a harmonisation of and update to existing data protection legislation in the EU, in response to the increasing technological changes in the way data is now accessed and used.

It increases the rights of individuals to control how their personal information is collected and processed, and places a range of new obligations on organisations to be more accountable for data protection.

In compliance with these rules the following outlines how Circle for Transformation collects, uses, communicates and makes us of any personal data.

Email is the most common way that we collect your data and by signing up to access our resources you agree to your data such as name, date of birth and contact details to be kept on file. Likewise any information freely given through emails, written correspondence and during telephone, online and in person interviews and conversations will be processed in the same way. If you make direct contact with one of our coaches they may have their own way of complying with GDPR so it is best to check with them directly if you have any concerns.

As far as using data is concerned, it is used to provide a data base of clients both current and lapsed for a period of 6 years after which all information is destroyed, both physically and electronically.

The information contained for each individual is used to research and provide them with information and resources, details of upcoming events and updates to the content available to them to the best of our knowledge and ability and to find the best possible means of contacting them to administer those or to inform existing or potential clients of any offers available to them.

Confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us and you may be assured that all information such as email addresses, date of birth etc are kept solely for the purposes outlined above, and no information will be sold, rented, leased or otherwise transferred to unaffiliated third parties, government agency or any separate company at any time unless we are strictly compelled to do so by law or where we feel the law requires it in order to protect our own rights both as a company and as individuals within that company.

We reserve the right to amend this policy as the situation demands with or without prior notice but aim to adhere to protecting and maintaining your data in line with the safeguarding principles outlined above.

We will mention here that Circle for Transformation and the Energy Alignment Method accept no responsibility or liability with regard to practice and/or misuse of nor inability to use any of the resources, processes, lack of judgement with regards to personal safety, any and all damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, business interruption, loss of information, injury or death).
